money isn’t real, we have to believe in it for it to exist. money can’t cause anything by itself as it is not alive. money has to have people to move it.
people are the cause of addiction, as they become attached to something that brings them happiness, the same way that food is addictive. without money, people can’t buy the basic things they need to survive. creating value with a product or service, receiving money for that product or service, and then trading the money for food and shelter is not a bad thing.
money isn’t inherently addictive, but some people possess addictive behavior that can be transferred to any number of inanimate objects.
