En 1950, Carlo Heckman celebraba el cumpleaños de su abuelo, molesto por el desorden de velas que había sobre la torta. Al poco tiempo se le ocurrió el método Heckman, vendiendo una vela larga cada cuatro cortas.

[English] In the late 1950′s, Carlo Heckman was at a birthday party for his grandfather and was disturbed by the randomly placed candles on the cake. He immediately started working on a solution and came up with what he called the “Heckman Method.”

    it just looks so strange! i really like those candels which are like giant numbers, however if you buy them for your 18th birthday you have to wait a long time before you use them on your 81st
