PISCO is an original drink from PERU this destillery may be from chile, but it’s origin is from Peru… not Chile. When the spanish conquistadors came to south america their base was in no other country but Peru. And the incas learned their waine making techniques from them back then. Chile started making it way later. Pisco is the national drink of PERU and the name comes from the city “Pisco” in PERU.

@ 7R:
I didn’t write anywhere in the post that Pisco was originated either from Perú or Chile, just mentioned it was a traditional drink from both countries.
I didn’t even mention that this Pisco is made in Chile.
Prometo que traté de ser lo más parcial posible al escribir el artículo.

With packaging as attractive as this one I think I’d rather drink Chilean pisco than Peruvian pisco.
Keep up the nice work guys, and don’t pay attention to people who are purposely trying to pick up a (pretty stupid) fight.

@ Nils:
Al parecer no está a la venta todavía, lo busqué y googlié por todos lados y no hay. El packaging debe ser un concepto todavía.
Si la encuentro lo hago saber!
Saludos !

@ J.M… I was not trying to pick a fight at all. I was trying to add info about what Pisco is. But reading it now I could see how it can be perceived in that way… my apologies.

Hi , i tasted pisco from peru and chile and sincerily the peruvian pisco is superior than chilean pisco ….. can be a nice package but i suggest you to try both before make a choice
And is wrong saying that is a typical drink from chile, (chile has good wine) and if you don’t want to give the wrong idea of the origin of the pisco don`t say that is originary from chile.

Sorry i want to say that is “traditional” from chile

Sorry again i wanted to say that it isn’t “traditional” from chile

@ Charlotte:
1.Please prove me and everyone else that Pisco isn’t a typical or traditional drink of Chile.
(And don’t say that Chile has excellent wine).
2.Please tell me where in the post says that Pisco is from Chile.
Thanks .

@ Charlotte:
You just contradicted yourself in so many ways that I feel that your argument is no longer valid.
Please read carefully before you write or you’ll end up making a fool of yourself, just like you did now.

Una bebida tradicional sólo del Perú. Leer más crónicas Chilenas porfavor. Lo que dices es como q el tequila fuese original de Maxico pero tradicional de Maxico y EEUU.
