Si bien el metro de New York es de los mas antiguos y completos del mundo, no se destaca precisamente su belleza y pulcritud. Sin embargo, el Museum of Modern Art (tambien conocido como MoMA) decidio intervenir la estacion Atlantic Avenue/Pacific Street en Brooklyn con 50 famosas reproducciones de obras que se pueden encontrar en dicho museo creadas por artistas tan famosos como Picasso, Van Gogh, Warhol y Mondrian. Estara abierto hasta el el 15 de Marzo y puedes ver mas fotos despues del salto y aqui.
If you’ve ridden the New York subway, you’ll agree when I say that it’s not exactly the prettiest and cleanest subway system in the world. However, the MoMA has recently decided to take over Atlantic Avenue/Pacific Street subway station, filling the station with reproductions of over 50 works of art in the MoMA collection. There you will find the works of artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Warhol and Mondrian. It’s open 24/7, until March 15th, 2009. Check out more pictures after the jump and here.
